A chaplains compassion. 4.1.2020

Not being able to accompany my mom any further than the front entrance was heartbreaking. We had been waiting for weeks and weeks to hear what the doctor has to say after the Tumor Board met last week; just to get turned around.

I wanted to scream out “curse you covid-19” but I didn’t need to carried off in handcuffs; so I kept my composure. The chaplain was sitting in the front and was so kind.

  1. Oh, dear friend Whitnee! How my heart hurts to read this experience you had yesterday! You have every right and reason in the world to hurt over the fact that you were not allowed to stay with your mom while others were allowed to stay with their loved ones! 😰 We will all continue to surround your mom with our prayers and love, day after day after day! Thanking God this morning for the sweet holy presence of this dear chaplain… God, please hide Ms Willa and Whitnee beneath the shadow of your wings… comfort, shelter and protect them with your peace and healing touch…
