I was scheduled for a mortgage intake counseling session today at 5pm. 5:00 rolled around and my stomach started jumping in excitement because \u201cthis was the moment I had been waiting for.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The week had gone by in a blur, in anticipation I would be hearing some good news. Due to recent events, I have never been so ready to move and it seems like the process gets pushed back. Needless to say, my appointment didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I texted Jasmine and told her I had not heard from my mortgage counselor and I was going to give her five more minutes. Jasmine replied, \u201ccall now.\u201d So I did. No answer, so I left a voicemail. I then began to compose an email, as soon as I pressed send the phone rang. It was my mortgage counselor, or so I thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young lady said my counselor had to leave the office due to an emergency and we would have to reschedule our appointment. I must admit my original feeling was \u201cdern man, I\u2019ve waited all week and this is the second time that she has canceled on me.\u201d I felt as though I was being selfish and irrational so I sucked it up and asked when was the next available appointment. Luckily she has an opening next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sat on the edge of the bed for a moment and felt like I was about to cry but I won\u2019t allow the enemy to steal what God has for me. After all the blood, sweat and tears I have put in to see that my family moves to a safe neighborhood I know God has something in store. So I texted my husband, my realtor, Jasmine, Mrs Carolyn (my moms speech therapist) and a few others- they were the ones I had spoken to recently that I knew were praying for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look at the powerful response I got from Mrs. Carolyn: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right on time, thanks Mrs. Carolyn <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I had already began to think of scriptures that I could read as words of encouragement as I knew it is my time to wait and trust God. So I opened up my Bible and came across Jeremiah and while I turned the pages I listened to this song: Wait on the Lord by Donnie McClurkin<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, \u201cThus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 
\u2018Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.\u2019
\u201cFor thus says the Lord, the God of Isreal, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the Kings of Judah, which have been pulled down to to fortify against the siege mounds and the sword:
Jeremiah 33:1-4 NKJV <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Instead of me allowing the enemy to make a fool out of Whitnee\u2019 I am holding steadfast to God\u2019s promise and I am claiming that whatever God is doing in this season I AM INCLUDED. Lord I know you won\u2019t do it without me! Glory hallelujah! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
God always speaks to His children and today He spoke through Mrs Carolyn and I thank you Lord for sending her to our family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udfb6 If it had not been for the Lord on my side, tell me where would I be, where would I be. \ud83c\udfb6 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I prepare to close today\u2019s message I would like to leave you with a few words of encouragement: We must be patient, wait on the Lord, and hold steadfast in our faith. We have to be grounded and accept God\u2019s timing. We have to claim what God has for us is for us and know that He knows all about what we have going on and what we are going through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I want to encourage each person reading today\u2019s message to wait on the Lord with GREAT EXPECTATION and we have to EAGERLY ANTICIPATE THE LORD TO ANSWER IN HIS TIMING! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank you Lord for Your Word, thank you Lord for your taking, thank you Lord for Your Promises, and thank you Lord for allowing me to take my feelings to You in prayer. I won\u2019t be discouraged, I won\u2019t be dismayed BUT I WILL WAIT, WAIT ON THE LORD BECAUSE HIS WORD IS TRUE! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stay prayed up and keep the conversation with God ALIVE. GOD IS GOOD AND HE WON\u2019T FAIL YOU. Whether it be your house you waiting on, a car, a job, a spouse, or whatever WAIT ON THE LORD AND TRUST HIS TIMING. He is an on time God, yes He is!!! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lastly, call on the Lord in good times, in bad times, and AT ALL TIMES! Don\u2019t give up on God; He won\u2019t give up on you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
