This song inspired the title of today\u2019s message. As I drove to MUSC for my moms doctors appointment I listened to this song as a source of encouragement. So much is going on and I\u2019m able to clear my head when I listen to my music. As I was listening to this song so much was flashing before my eyes but I claimed the words in this song for me and over my life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what I had to do for Whitnee\u2019. Sometimes it\u2019s easier said that done but I believe in God\u2019s promises for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m encouraged this morning by Nehemiah\u2019s journey- no matter what \u201cfears\u201d he had, he believed in God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So often we as believers get discouraged because we lack patience. I admit I am one of those persons. ***CORRECTION*** I WAS one of those persons but on this journey in Christ my faith has gotten so much deeper, my trust is so much greater, and my hope is so much bigger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to learn that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And after I realized that, this became so much clearer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know I have a lot of screen shots and pictures today but thanks to the posts of these beautiful people who encourage me daily with their post, I was able to put my thoughts into words. When I originally started writing today\u2019s message I was frustrated so I took it to the Lord in prayer and then after getting up to use the restroom at about 2 something this morning these posts stood out to me. I don\u2019t know what it is about 2 and 3 in the morning, but since about May those are the best quiet times I have to feast on the Word. You would think I would be tired when I get all the way up but it is something about the peace I have- I don\u2019t worry about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God wants me to have this time with Him so I can focus on how far He has brought me. Sure 2020 has been one of the most financially devastating times I have had in years but it has also been the most PRAISEWORTHY years as well. I\u2019ve seen miracles on top of miracles and at the end of the day there is no comparison to what I\u2019ve had to dish out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is telling me to focus on Him and not my losses. Because Nehemiah trusted in God and proceeded with the path God had him on, he was able to see God\u2019s vision out. In other words, it came into fruition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We must stay in prayer and praise God through our mess. I\u2019ll give you an example: when I was driving back from Charleston yesterday after I had a good time jamming to my gospel tunes I get a call from Rico. Now I\u2019m thinking he is calling to see where I am but instead he called to see if I moved the bikes. At first I didn\u2019t think anything of it until he said they were no longer in my backyard. I laughed at the thought of \u201cnow these bums came and stole my kids bikes\u201d. These bikes were special to me because they were all gifts from my sisters in Christ from the Koinonia Women\u2019s Support Group. When they heard my kids had outgrown their bikes and I didn\u2019t have the money just yet Ms. Samuel, Ms. Valerie, and Diana provided three beautiful age appropriate bikes for my little ones to enjoy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All I could think about is THIS IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I HAVE GOT TO MOVE. Some folks can\u2019t stand to see you with anything. Instead of people working to get their own they sit and plot and wait until you leave to take what you have. This time I believe it was those kids from down the street. I guess they see us cleaning up and getting rid of things my kids have outgrown, they thought they would just help themselves. Shame on them and shame on their parents for not paying attention to them or wondering \u201cwhere did those bikes comes from\u201d and make them bring them back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a nutshell, no matter what we face we have to remember God\u2019s promises to us. He said he would never leave us nor forsake us. His timing is not our timing. So although this frustrates me I have to think about my new home that God has prepared for my family and I. I have to thank Him advance for the new car, the new bikes, the new flower pot, etc. that He will bless us with. I believe God is going to replace what was stolen from us with BIGGER AND BETTER. He knows all about it and I\u2019m thanking Him in advance because it is coming! Our breakthrough is on the way! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t get anything else that I\u2019ve said this morning, remember this: YOUR PEACE, YOUR HOPE, YOUR JOY and so much more is worth fighting for! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
