Mom and dad told me at a young age that I should never forget where I come from. Did your parents ever tell you that? As a child did you know what they meant? Did you really grasp the concept of what they were saying? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This statement really humbled me and no matter how much or how little I had; I was always thankful! I wasn\u2019t thankful because of the materialistic things but because of who God was and is in my life. The relationship with Him supersedes any money I had or will have. The intimate relationship with Him is priceless so matter what my bank account said or will say- it just can\u2019t compare to what I have in Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This man and woman sit at the table counting possibly all the money they had at the time. They didn\u2019t have on Prada, Gucci, or other designer clothes yet they had such a grace about themselves. They didn\u2019t look sad or down; they looked content and thankful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They counted their pennies, their nickels and dimes, quarters and dollars and the husband did with such grace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While some count their hundreds, thousands, or millions they still seem disconnected or out of touch with themselves. No matter how much some have they still don\u2019t have it all- especially if they lack the relationship with Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m proud to say the \u201capple didn\u2019t fall too far from the tree.\u201d I\u2019m teaching my boys about the one relationship that will bring more joy and happiness than any amount of money in the world. Rico and I are raising them to choose Christ verses the vices of this world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That relationship will take my boys farther in life than the richest mans money. This morning I\u2019m so thankful that I am content in Christ. No matter what we go through in this life God is there with us and He will not leave us nor forsake us. Thank you Lord for allowing me to see Your grace IN ALL SITUATIONS and for allowing me to pass it on to the next generation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
