Ever find yourself scratching the top of your head wondering \u201cwhat in the world just happened?\u201d After scratching your head you still don\u2019t have the answer so you hang your head out of frustration? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday we had another HVAC inspection and I just knew \u201ctoday was the day!\u201d I had gone to the Walmart on Bush River to see what all the hype was about. Everyday I look across the bridge and see cars lined up to turn into Walmart so as I waited to hear from my realtor I figured I\u2019d give it a shoot. The boys gave me a grocery list of milk, spoons, paper towels, and one bag of chips. I often ask them what they would like and I was quite impressed of how responsible the list was for a change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once I got there I figured this would be a piece of cake. Boy was I wrong! First off there were no buggies. I mean I wasn\u2019t going to clear the store out but there is no way I\u2019m standing in line with a gallon of milk and other stuff in my hand because we all know how Walmart lines can be. You may have ten lines with only two actual cashiers with an open register and depending on the time of day they may have self check out lanes open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the time I got in line I had received a call from my realtor that the HVAC inspector was on the way to the house so that was my signal to hurry on up. I must admit I did get a little carried away out of curiosity on how much merchandise they had because every person I passed had a mountain high buggy and the store was only at 25% off at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I got my short list of things and off I went. I dropped the milk and things off to the boys and then headed to meet my realtor and the HVAC inspector at our soon to be next home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the time I got on the interstate and got about two exits down I got a phone call. Ever gotten a call and you just knew from the tone of the person on the other end it wasn\u2019t going to be good news? <\/em>My realtor had told me that the HVAC unit still was not charged properly and that the sellers contractor would have to come out again. I was very concerned at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only is that more money out of my pocket. It\u2019s more time. It\u2019s more waiting. And most importantly it truly changes our time line on when we can close. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in all I\u2019m trusting God so I told my realtor well I guess in God\u2019s timing we will move forward. In the meantime I\u2019m just glad to have a roof over my head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I turned back around but as I turned around to head to my 12 o\u2019clock appointment all kind of weird thoughts went through my mind. What if this is a sign? What if this is not the house for us? How many more inspections? How much more money do I have to spend? Will we close before February<\/em>? Should I walk away, should I stay, what should I do? <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I called my \u201ctrusted sidekick\u201d Jasmine and asked her for her opinion. You know sometimes you have to call a friend who can help you rationalize. We balance one another out when our mind moves faster than our brains at times. In this cause, my \u201celevator\u201d wasn\u2019t going all the way to the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Jasmine help me keep things in the right perspective and she gave me words of encouragement. The funny thing about it is she allowed me to hear myself out loud and sometimes that\u2019s all you need to see how silly one can be. Lord knows I can be a silly rabbit at times! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told Jasmine I had to ask the Lord a few questions. I ended with \u201cLord I don\u2019t know, but I trust you!\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Those simple words brought peace and understanding and I knew it wasn\u2019t anything else for me to discuss or worry about. I knew like Dave said to Madison, \u201cevery little thing was going to be alright.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so it was! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Less than 45 minutes later I got a call from the mortgage broker with excellent news! This was news I had also been waiting on, on top of the HVAC issue. I was thrilled! This was one more thing I could cross off of my list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wasn\u2019t in the right place I could shout for joy but Lord knows I was screaming on the inside. I couldn\u2019t wait to get out to share the good news. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I laughed to myself on the ride to the office to print out some paperwork because I knew God had it. If I would have worried then I would have doubted God\u2019s ability to work things out in my favor. I didn\u2019t doubt- I was content and I trusted God! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is where today\u2019s scripture comes into play. Verse 6 says: Let not those who wait for You, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed because of me; Let bit those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see this journey I\u2019m on right now can make or break someone. It may be a first time homeowners journey but what about the journey I am still on with working from home, educating three kids at home, still being the primary caregiver for my mom, on top of seeking justice for the mold situation. That\u2019s just a part of my journey. What about yours? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What journey are you on? Have you hit a bump in the road? Are you at a standstill? Are you waiting to pass go and collect 200? Where? How? Why? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it\u2019s what you do and how you respond that will be the biggest kicker on your next steps. So what do you do? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I encourage you to trust God? Can I encourage you to know like Dave said, \u201cevery little thing is going to be alright!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There may be someone in your circle that is following your journey. How do you encourage them to keep the course and not loose hope? What will you do to encourage them to dust themselves off and try again if they get knocked down? How do we show them that God is capable and He has got this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have to walk the walk and talk the talk. The easy thing for me to have done today when I got the call was to give up. Sure it might of felt good but what would I have gained? Would all the sacrifice, long hours, early mornings, house hunting, inspection fees, paperwork on top of paperwork would it have all been in vain? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guess I\u2019ll never know because IM NOT GIVING UP AND I ENCOURAGE THOSE READING TODAYS MESSAGE TO <\/strong>NOT GIVE UP EITHER! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My kids are depending on me. What kind of role model would I be if I threw in the towel before I finished the race? We aren\u2019t quitters!!!! WE ARE FIGHTERS! We fight to the death! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While you are on your journey, what ever journey that may be, even if it\u2019s just your life journey; remember there is always someone watching. Some watching and praying for you to succeed as others watching and waiting for your downfall. Shame the devil and make the Lord proud- stay the course God has placed you on and claim the victory. God has already won the war. You tell the devil to go back to the pits of hell that he came from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOT TODAY SATAN! You can\u2019t have my victory and you can\u2019t have my joy. My family and I will have the house God prepared for us and WE WILL BE HOME IN OUR NEW HOME SOON. Stay tune for the next episode…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
