I wonder what kind of party y\u2019all having up there momma? What are ya\u2019ll eating and what\u2019s playing on the radio? Do they have birthday cakes and ice cream in Heaven? I\u2019m sure daddy threw down in the kitchen, oh how I miss ya\u2019ll cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking of cooking, guess what I did today momma? I think I finally mastered your macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw. Of course it will never be as good as yours but I think you would have given me a thumbs up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
While I was stirring the macaroni I ended up seeing a lady bug, it made my heart happy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then suddenly I thought of the gospel song we ALWAYS used to sing at NST. The tears rolled down my face and wouldn\u2019t stop. You remember I\u2019m Free by Rev. Milton Brunson. That song is definitely a tear jerker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sadness came over me but I knew I had a tall task today, and that was to tackle your macaroni momma! I prayed and asked God to give me to strength and I looked at your picture and asked you to be my guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8 hours later I say thank you momma for being my guide. Thank you for being my guardian angel. Thank you for still being present in a surreal way and for encouraging me in the kitchen when I feel like giving up. Thanks for teaching me how to fight, stand fast, and to at other times to be still and pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So while you are probably singing on the Heavenly choir right now or finishing up in the Soul Train line, I wanted to say Happy birthday once more before I go to bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
