2 Chronicles 15:7 <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
On a day like today I find myself thinking of the words from Genesis 50:20. It reads, As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. And then I go to the book of Galatians and read 6:9 to give me a piece of mind. Galatians 6:9 reads, \u201cLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tears kept falling and so right when I said to myself, \u201cLord I\u2019m tired of crying it\u2019s not getting me anywhere\u201d, I got a group text out of the blue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It read:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
People truly don\u2019t know how much one has to bear unless they blast in on FB, share with folks who can listen but can\u2019t solve the problems, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I gave my life to Christ, I knew it wouldn\u2019t be easy. And I knew I had my cross to bear. I knew trials would come and I knew adversity would strike to help strengthen me. What I did not know is I would have to travel so many roads alone. I did not know that certain things God was taken me through and preparing me for, at times it would feel like I couldn\u2019t catch my breath. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today has been one of those days. I find myself crying at work uncontrollably (thank God I\u2019m in the office alone) and I find myself crying out to God for help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this life we are all going to go through some things and we are all going to have days like I\u2019m having today. So what do we do about it you ask?! In the words of Curtis Mayfield, \u201cgotta keep on pushin baby.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes it\u2019s easier said than done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the years I\u2019ve learned it\u2019s okay to feel sad, distraught, maybe even to the point you are helpless BUT we must not stay there and we always have to remember where our help comes from. I don\u2019t know about you but my help comes from the Lord. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back in June, God placed something on my heart that has brought me so much joy! I mean immense joy! I\u2019ve come out of my shell and met new folks, I\u2019ve traveled near and far getting things ready, and it has given me great satisfaction knowing though my mom isn\u2019t here, she is guiding me through this process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing and listening to music are like a balm that helps heal my pain and slow my tears. It turns my sad tears into happy tears. Though I haven\u2019t made it to the happy tears, I\u2019m encouraged knowing though things seem to be falling apart, my God never changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My hands might ache, my stomach might cramp, my knee may give way, my head may pound, and though I face some difficulties that only God knows\u2026.I find peace in God. I have to trust Him. I have to still send out words of encouragement every morning. I have to keep on smiling. I have to keep thinking of others. I have to keep the course God has set out for me no matter how the unknowns and different variables try to cause havoc and steal my peace, I gotta keep on pushin. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
About an hour ago if I was a smoker I would have lit two cigarettes. If I were a drinker, I would have went to the store and got me something to help me lean BUT since I\u2019m just trusting God, I sit and work and write to release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Normally I write to encourage other people but I apologize for being selfish today, I had to write to encourage myself. I had to write to shake the sadness, the pain, and the disappointment. I had to write to not give up and to say the heck with all of it. I had to write to give a praise to God because I can\u2019t talk and shout how I want to in the workplace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Friends I want you to remember that weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. You might know when your morning is and I definitely don\u2019t see mine, but God is my light and I have hope, and I trust Him so I know that morning is coming soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is a way maker, promise keeper, Light in the darkness. That\u2019s who He is and that is who He has been time and time again. God will never change, He remains the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you feel like you are sinking and everything you try to do fails, don\u2019t give up. When you find yourself at a loss like I\u2019ve found myself today, be encouraged. Troubles not going to last always. When you get on the other side of whatever you are going through, you will smile and realize God was with you every step of the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My prayer today is that you realize that same God who brings comfort to me on my weary days, will bring comfort and peace to you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
