Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being on one accord, of one mind. 
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in loveliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 
Let each of you look out not only for his own interest, but also for the interests of others. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n

A few months back we had a visitor from CBF, it was Rev. Elizabeth from SCCBF. We were blessed to hear her preach the Word and she joined our class for Sunday school. What a treat! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During our time together in Sunday school, Rev. Elizabeth had a presentation. At the time I had not realized just how many collaborative projects would be birthed. She shared some of the things that were happening and encouraged us to take part through our local Body of Christ at Eau Claire. A seed was planted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tyesha was inspired and immediately began working on ways to be a blessing to the community. She shared her vision and by the grace of God, it came to pass on yesterday. Tyesha\u2019s nonprofit entitled, \u201cFreshen Up by Ezra,\u201d secured us the opportunity to bless our brothers and sisters at Transitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
God has truly blessed our church family with many talents and gifts in which we use to glorify God. As I sit back and ponder on how a conversation in the hallway a little over a month ago turned into serving 30-45 with warm meals courtesy of Faith\u2019s upcoming nonprofit, Diabetes Talk; fresh hygiene bags and jewelry courtesy of Tyesha\u2019s upcoming nonprofit, Freshen Up By Ezra; along with men & women clothing from Dolly\u2019s House- my heart is so glad! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wesley, Mr. Richard, Mrs. Edna, and others worked with the youth to ensure they were ready for their part in worship service today while the rest of us prepared for our community outreach. A time was definitely had! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had many take aways on how we could improve our efforts the next go round and we were definitely excited. We left the church with a trunk full but left Transitions with only the remnants of where clothes, food, and hygiene products once were. There were a few people that came after we had given out of everything. We assured them we would be back, and we will! Prayerfully next time we can get it on the church calendar to get others involved to reach more people and have the church bus to able to pass out even more clothes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m so grateful to be apart of a church that meets the needs of their community not just in word but in action. According to Wesley we still have work to do, and I wholeheartedly agree. I can\u2019t speak for Diabetes Talk and Freshen Up by Ezra but I know Dolly\u2019s House will be going mobile more often beginning in early 2026! We\u2019ve got to meet people where they are and that means going beyond the walls of the church. God we humbly ask You to bless our efforts so that we can be a blessing to our community. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
God loves the unity of believers and I know with collaborative efforts like this, the things happening with City of Columbia, neighboring churches and funeral homes, etc. together we can meet the needs of our community and be more effective when it comes to serving others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
