After receiving a call from my mother-in-law on Sunday, Rico and I rushed over to check Rico’s little brother RJ. Ezelda hadn’t spoken with him and she heard there had just been a shooting in the neighborhood he lives in about 4 hours earlier. We didn’t want her to upset herself and cause herself to worry herself into a seizure so we prayed and went over there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought about calling and doing a welfare check at first but because of how the culture is out there right now, I didn’t think it was the smartest move to involve the police to what we could do.
