Myrna Summers and Timothy Wright have a song entitled We’re Going to Make It. This song inspired me to encourage you this morning to keep on keeping on. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning light. We’re going to make it!
Someway, somehow, we’re going to make it! Don’t let the hard times in life stop you from your daily grind. Thats what the enemy wants. I know because the enemy tried to stop me from writing what God placed on my heart. He wanted me to feel like I was wasting my time. I’m not going to allow those thoughts to stop me. God is molding and making me and He is doing the same in and through you.

Although, I can’t go back and read the daily devotionals, I think I can relate you with a praise as such when you were telling me about not having any gas money and you was scraping up money from one account to another trying to come up with ten dollars, but then as you were about to look at that account, SUDDENLY, the deposit came back from the rental. That was a moment God spoke to you saying, BE STILL MHY CHILD AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. You know that right there gave me chills. We be so worried at times wondering where the money is going to come from and we may not have money in abundance, YET, or should I say from pay check to paycheck and sometimes it’s not even that because the money is already gone. God also told us to stand still until his will is clear and we must stand still regardless when it seems like a title wave of bills, circumstances that try to knock us down. I can honestly say that I do get knocked down, but I get back up again. I am trying to get like one of these old oak trees that have it’s roots so rooted in the ground that if a tornado or hurricane come through, it’s still standing unbothered. That’s the faith that I am trying to build. My Father in Heaven is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the I AM . So God knew my struggles when we were born and everything we would go through. Theses hardships, struggles, challenges are building greatness in us. Our eyes should remain looking to the hills from which our help comes from. Amen.
We are in a storm but this too shall pass. We have to keep our eyes on Jesus so we don’t sink no matter what is going on around us, let’s keep our eyes planted on the Lord.
Yep. That’s what God wants his children to do. Depend on him. I am going to focus on Me. Patiently waiting.
