When we describe people nowadays we start off with the color of their skin. Why is that? As I sat and reflected last night over the conversations that took place while I was at the women’s support group it made me think of how we look at people and why can’t we as a people can’t look past the color of ones skin.
I wrote about what was on my mind. I wanted to have a real discussion of what I see everyday, real talk! Some language may be offensive but it is the reality of our nation today. Visit the Daily Devotional section for the full story.
For some reason I can’t go to your Daily Devotional but when I look at my Beatifully, wonderfully, Made Pig Nose, I see A Beautiful God Fearing Woman with the most beautifullest gap in the whole wide world. Did I mention besides your beautiful soul, I think that gap is one of the best features you have. It brightens up your smile. I have loved your gap since first grade when you had 2 front teeth. It’s your uniqueness. That’s why when I wont accept a picture from you unless you show those pearly whites! Your beautiful feature that never should be hidden. I also see a beautifully talented writer on our ha ds as well as a counselor. I see it in you. I know you have it in you to speak God’s Word and Truth, you are beautifully outspoken if that makes any sense. When, You explain things you break it down to everyone’s understanding. That’s a gift on its own. I am so grateful to have such a beautifully, out spoken friend. God knows what you need from me and God knows what I need from you. So when I truly look at you, I see A Beautiful Creation made Perfectly by God. Love you. ❤️

You know three years later and we have Pastor Jackie here. She spoke on skin color at our support group and it’s funny how three years later same day we are still speaking on it. She spoke about how she was teased growing up about her complexion and it’s no surprise to me. I personally love me a dark skinned woman or man. God made us in all shades and we all are beautiful and have our uniqueness whether if it’s our skin color, personality, etc….God made us all different and gave us each a unique gift. Whitnee I can say that yours definitely shines….Such an inspiration with this site so that I can inspire others and be inspired by your gift. I don’t care if I am the only one who writes, follow the directions when you read, then like your page…. Or leave a comment. People do what they want to do and I know I will always support you M’am in all of your gifts and pray for you. You are such a blessing providing a way for me to talk to God, vent my feelings of love, hurt, sadness, and encouragement. I know I will talk to the Heavenly Father but you provided a way so that I will encourage someone else. Thanks Whitnee. Amen.
