Happy Hump Day! In Joshua chapter 7 Joshua had sent spies out to spy on the camp at Ai. There judgement was wrong and much blood was shed. What if Joshua would have sought God is prayer instead of doing things his way. Do you think the results would have been different?
Let’s have a discussion about pointing the blame at others while reflecting on the story we learn in the 7th chapter of Joshua.
The full story will be posted under Daily Devotional by 10am. I’m eager to hear from you, what are your thoughts? Please place comments below!
This one touches home. I had made some poor decisions and even some decisions to this day I regret, however I know I can not stay there, I have to continue to pray for God to forgive me and help with the lasting effects of the decisions. The first step is acknowledging that I made the poor decision, that can be hard, but it must happen. you have to take responsibility for your ROLE in everything that happens to you. I have had my share of trials and still living in them, but having that relationship with God really helps me not get in some situations that I know I should not be in.
No ma’am you cannot stay there. God does not want us to live our life full of regrets. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:20, it says, They seldom reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps them occupied with gladness of heart. Its too many of folks out here living life of regret, it can be devastating to our health, so no buddy you cannot stay there! God has forgiven you, you just have to forgive yourself. So it sounds like you made the first step, congratulations! Keep focusing on God and you will see He has your reward for remaining faithful. Pray about it and learn to let go. God’s got it and God’s got you. Keep reaching for His hand, like the lady who touched the helm of Jesus’ garment, you will get there and when you do you will see God never turned His back on you and He never turned away from you because you made a bad decision (WE ALL DO) but He was there with you every step of the way. Continue to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith!
