Sunday after church the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the wind was blowing just right. I had been gifted some coupons to Jersey Mike’s and figured today was the day my family and I would enjoy a meal together outside of the house!
After lunch, we went joy riding and went to go dream as we sat under the car port of a potential house we have been eyeing for a while. We drove the countryside of Ballentine and stumbled upon land we did not know even existed. On our way down a road we never traveled, we gazed upon a family of about 5 to 7 red birds sitting amongst a fence that sit just in front of a creek. It was gorgeous! Simply breathe taking!
Moments went by and I had to come into work. I had a song on the radio entitled, “Why Not Me” by Tasha Page-Lockhart ; and then it hit me! I have a new song in my heart and after listening and praying over that song I have a message for all those who don’t believe my God cares for you even in the midst of your pain. My toes hurt so much right now, cause you stepped all over them. Lol! But my spirit feels so much better. I’ve always felt I was never good enough for anyone nor pretty enough to be loved by someone. But after reading today’s message, I know I’m not those things the devil had me believe, cause God me me beautiful. Yes, I can tell my story, for I have a testimony. And now I have a new race to run.
