At 535 am yesterday morning I heard a loud boom, I mean not like a thunder or lightning boom but I mean like a tree had fallen right next to you type of boom. That noise followed by the sky lighting up briefly and then total darkness.
After waking up several times throughout the night due to extreme winds, thunderstorms, heavy rains, and lightning a little bit of “pitch blackness” was just what I needed to get some sound sleep. But who can guess how long my lights were out?
