I AM HIS!

Fun fact: Did you know the phrase “fear not” is used more than 80 times in the Bible?

This morning God directed my attention to the 43rd chapter of Isaiah. I find much joy in knowing the God I serve cares for me! It brings great comfort knowing He is all powerful, all knowing, merciful, gracious, and a loving God.

For those who tuned in last week, you see I had a trying week but not one time did I question God or His love for me. I might have gotten a little weary at times but I kept the faith. You see I was reminded about how adversity can strike by re-reading the Book of Job. Job went through some stuff but He never stopped praising God.

The last time I checked I didn’t loose my cattle, my spouse, my children, my home, my health, or at times my mind- so why should I allow the trials I face to cause my faith to be questioned. I know who holds my hand I know whom I am.

I AM HIS AND HE IS MINE!

Written with a humble heart

During this pandemic a lot of us haven’t taken advantage of the time being alone- meaning we haven’t taken the time to commune with God but studying His word. We more worried about what Trump doing, what the CDC advises, or if Microsoft is going to buy TicTok or not that we don’t take time to feast on the Word.

At the end of the day when all else fails, my God still stands and He reigns. So because of that I don’t have to worry, I don’t have to be afraid, I DON’T HAVE TO FEAR!

Y’all don’t hear me talking this morning!

We have to meditate on God’s truth. Yes it’s good to stay in tune with the news but let’s be honest. Too much of MSNBC will drive anyone plump fool! But when we meditate on God’s truth, the miseries of the world cause less stress and tension in our minds.

Going back to scripture, Isaiah 43:1 says God has called us by name, we are His. Aren’t you glad about it?

I don’t know about you but I have on my shouting shoes. Then If you keep reading further into this particular passage of scripture, it gets better!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.

For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west;

I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back.’ Bring my Sons from afar, And my daughters from the ends of the earth-

Everyone who is called by My name, Whim I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

Isaiah 43:2-7 NKJV

When you have the time continue reading the rest of Isaiah 43; it will blow your mind!

So this morning God told me to tell you that God crested YOU for HIS glory! You were fearfully and wonderfully made! He wants the world to see to whom YOU belong! We can’t allow fear to guide us- but the one and only Holy God to guide our every foot steps. Yes we might get afraid at times and yes we might fear- we are humans. BUT we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us to discern to remind us that God is in control. Allow the Holy Spirit, the love of God, His promises, and the sacrifice of Jesus’ blood shed for us to remind us constantly that God is in control.

No matter what comes our way, no matter how strong the winds and the currents are, no matter the mile or the multitude, we have to choose faith over fear and we have to fight this battle on our knees. God won’t put more on than we can bear; trust in the Lord and cast your fears to the Lord.

I know sometimes it seems like a never ending road of trials; but God knows all about it. Just when I took one step and got knocked 20 steps back; God stepped in and reminded me of His grace and mercy in the form of the beautiful rain and another rainbow. He knows about what happened to me and my family last week, He knows what hardships I face right now as I type the message to you, and glory be to God He knows how the story will end. He is the author and finisher of my faith and I will trust in Him. Will you, do you, are you saying the same?

  1. Oh Amen. Amen. Whoa. You took the words right out of my mouth. All of this is what I wanted to share with you last week when you shared about the thievery with your truck. Lady honestly, I believe part of why you are going through is because of your “bounce back”. I believe God is saying, look devil, my child Whitnee S***, is a descendant of Job, …what, oh you don’t believe me, well watch this, boom look how she continues to praise and do My will, spreading My message with her website and remain faithful reading MY WORD, while her Mother going through with cancer, Now her Mother is staying with her, requiring her help like a newborn baby, And look, that ain’t stop her there. So the devil got mad and stole your rims and tires….God looked at the devil and laughed. GOD SAID her weaping may have endured for a night but her Joy cometh in the morning. I supply ALL of her needs according to MY riches and glory!!!Whoooooa!!!!!! I hope you shouting with me pig nose! That was in my spirit and I had to share with you. Over the years of our friendship. You have always bounced back and have given God the Glory. You Whitnee, my Best friend are my inspiration and have been my inspiration to spread the News about Jesus through social media since that seems about the most wide spread way to do so….And I say Thank you for that. I Love you.

      Oh I’m ready to keep on this fight of faith because I know God’s got the victory all ready.

      Can’t wait to share God’s victory and blessings with others. Reading His word is so comforting and by knowing that we don’t go through things by chance helps me to keep on, keeping on. This too shall pass!!!
