You know I had this title on my mind for the last two days and read and prayed over Luke 12 but I guess it wasn’t my time to write. But this morning my Aunt Jackie sent me the song I Made It by Fantasia and Tye Tribbett and my heart instantly went back to this scripture. I had to send out a this morning and post a reel on IG of my praise break this morning. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard this song but I encourage you to let your hair down, get loose, and listen now. It will bless your heart. Click here to listen, it will take you to YouTube, feel free to forward this link to bless someone else this morning as well.
This morning I want to talk to you briefly about God’s provisions. Originally I was listening to Tamela Mann’s God Provides and was inspired to write but it was something about Fantasia’s voice that convicted my spirit this morning. It made me stop in the middle of my tracks. It made me put my work to the side. It made get up and shout. And when I got up and shouted I couldn’t stop crying. When I stopped crying y’all I decided to pick my cross back up and follow Jesus.
You see God has me on a mission. The mission God has given me is to share His Good News. He has equipped me with a gift that only He can give and only He can take away. God has given me a purpose to share His love with others through sharing words of encouragement. My God has given me a deep love for His people. With that love He has given me the desire to feed off of others energy and to be inspired by people; and with that inspiration to create readable words that folks can use as encouragement.
So with God’s help I want to tell you just a little bit about God’s provision over and in my life. I’m not going to beat a dead horse and tell you all about what I’ve gone through because today’s message isn’t about that. Today’s message is about how God provides and God always makes a way when I didn’t seem to see or know how to find my way. God has never left me nor forsaken me. And this morning I’m glad to see He has never left nor forsaken you.
God has always there. Even when you didn’t see Him working, you didn’t feel His presence, or you couldn’t understand His timing, He’s been there.
Going to scripture this morning we find in the Bible the book of Luke. And in the 12th chapter of Luke, beginning at the 22nd verse until the 34th verse, it talks about not worrying.
How many of you worry about things all the time? How many of you worried right now? How many of you wondering how you going to make it?
My sisters and brothers rest assured that God’s got it! There is a sweet peace, there is a great hope, there is a powerful and calming joy when you trust the Lord. It’s something about His peace that brings comfort and assurance because you know God is capable and He cares.
Luke 12:31 says, “But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.”
I told y’all I was going to keep it brief and I’ll keep my word.
The morale of today’s message is God provides everything we need, He is the supplier of all things. We can’t do nothing without Him. We are nothing without Him.
I encourage those reading today’s message to believe in your heart that we serve a God who is merciful, mighty, caring, good, omnipotent, omnipresent, and is love.
Oh Yes God is everything we need. This message was for me. I was almost about to worry about how something was going to paid but my inner self said But God. GOD IS MY EVERYTHING. HE IS MY ALPHA AND OMEGA. HE IS THE BEGINNING AND THE END. HE IS MY PROVIDER!!!! AND I NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT A THING! FOR THE GOOD LORD PREDESTINED ME BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN TO DO HIS WILL! OH HALLEUJAH!!! PUTTING ON MY SHOUTING SHOES RIGHT NOW! OVERJOYED SCREAMING HALLEUJAH GOD ALL THE WAY TO HEAVEN! WORSHIPPING THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! OH HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED! 🏃🏿♀️🏃🏿♀️🏃🏿♀️🏃🏿🏃🏾🕺🏾💃🏾👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🤸🏿♂️🤸🏿♀️🤸🏽♀️🤸🏾🙌🏿🙌🏾🙌🏾
He is our provider! I feel exactly what you are saying. When I originally was going to write two days ago it was going to be talking about a financial hardship my family just faced.
It was unfamiliar to be in the situation we were in thank God for the extra work but when sickness and an accident (the unforeseen or unknown) things happen that challenge your finances.
Anyway fortunately I had money set aside I had not even touched and it was a blessing it covered my need plus more- and took I had a few dollars (literally a few lol) to put aside.
With that said, if God did it for me…He can do the same for you!
