How U Doin? (notes from worship service 6/26/2022)

I know I’m a few weeks behind but I wanted to share with you what I received from worship service. The message was entitled “Six Month Checkup”. The featured scripture was 2 Corinthians 13:5. I will also attach the link to the YouTube channel.

Below you will find 9 questions that we can ask ourselves while conducting our now seventh month check up. View the YouTube link for the full message.

  • Are you reading your Bible daily?
  • What scriptures have you memorized this year?
  • Are you praying daily?
  • Are you fighting sin in your life?
  • How is your walk with your family?
  • Who is it that you have shared God’s word with?
  • Who is walking more closely with Christ because of you?
  • Are you serving faithfully in your local church?
  • Is Jesus Christ in you?

If you have completed todays self examination leave a ❤️ in the comments section.

  1. This is an eye opener for me when I listened to this and when I was in church. You know when you in church and the pastor seems like he talking directly to you or you have to say ouch….oh yes I need to work on this or I need to work on that….yes, that was me in church but it was definitely a eye bulging reality. Yes and I know no one is perfect; however we must continue to grow and be more like Christ well that’s the goal for me and I am instilling in my children. You can say that you are a Christian all day long, but it’s your work, your actions, your faith, your walk, and your living that life that shows your love for Christ. It’s knowing that your going to fail at something; but it’s how you get up and move on that counts. I believe that everyone one of us are miracles that are waiting to happen if we have not happened already. The God in us is ready to show out. If only we knew that we are so unaware of our actions and how they touch and move people when we don’t even know it.

    1. Amen. The Bible says in Colossians 4:5 walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

So basically we have to stay ready at all times because we don’t know when God will use us to minister to the spiritually dead, lost, unbelievers, etc.
