But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. 

Isaiah 40:31

During a time when we look at the news, we turn on the radio, open up social media, read the newspaper, or just walk down the street you hear about all the devastation that is going on around our world. And if you look closer into your community, events are happening left and right that make us all want to cry out. It makes us want to cling to God even more (personally speaking). When all else is said and done, I know God is my everything!

Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually.

1 Chronicles 16:11

The last few weeks I’ve been struggling with sinus headaches, an ear ache, fatigue, congestion, and the list goes on. I’ve seen how people take my kindness for weakness. I’ve seen how folks take advantage of certain situations. I’ve seen how folks smile in your face, while they plot and scheme behind closed doors in hopes of taking what you have. I have seen folks pretend to care just to get in your business and try to hold your own words against you. I’ve seen folks have delight in their eyes as they’ve watched my family struggle. Oh it’s funny how when physically you not feeling well and you have no choice but to slow down, but other senses are heightened and awareness is brought to the forefront.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. 

2 Thessalonians 3:3

Despite all of that foolishness, I still give God all the honor and praise. You see because right now I’m just so happy those folks don’t have a heaven or hell to put me in, so I’ll just pray for them and keep it moving.

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. 

Deuteronomy 31:6

Although you may not know the tone of my voice, I want you to know I’ve got the joy and peace from God that only He can provide. In the voice of Regis, “I’m not pressed!” In the voice of Uncle Kent, “I’m too blessed to be stressed!”

• My hope
• My hope for tomorrow
• My rock
• My rock in a weary land
• My shelter
• My shelter in the time of storm

If you find yourself in a weary land, I want you to seek God for shelter. Allow Him to comfort you. Allow Him to be your rock.

Fear not, for I am with you: be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 

Isaiah 41:10

During my lunch break I just wanted to encourage those reading today’s message to stay encouraged! Stay prayed up. Stay vigilant. Stay alert. Stay seeking God and asking Him for strength and power.

‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. 

Jeremiah 32:17

No matter what you’ve gone through, are going through, or will go through God is still in control! Troubles may come, winds may blow, storms may try to wreak havoc in your life BUT GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL! Don’t get so caught up in politics or whatever else is on your mind that you are too distracted to focus on Jesus.

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord! 
Psalm 31:24

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulations. But take heart, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, go give you the victory. 
Deuteronomy 20:4
