We can come to God with no doubts. This means that when we ask God for things (and those things agree with what God wants for us), then God cares about what we say. God listens to us every time we ask Him. So we know that He gives us the things that we ask from Him.
1 John 5:14-15 ICB
As we started our morning routine (brushing our teeth, shower, prayer, etc.) time slowed down a bit and we were able to have a conversation and talk about the dreams God had given us and the message that came out of the dream; simply beautiful! While I was walking in the store to get some cranberry juice and I was talking with Rico, in my head after reading a text I said, “it’s time to Superman that hoe!” Ya’ll remember the song from Soulja Boy entitled Crank Dat (Soulja Boy)? Do you not know since the song came out in 2007, I used to mimic the dance and I would be screaming Superman that hoe?! Ummm WRONG Whitnee’. Tell me I’m not the only one that thought those were the words lol?!
For context and to let you know the lyrics (those of you who are thinking I am crazy at this point) here you go:

It’s many of us right now that are “in the waiting room”, like Pastor Nathaniel Hobbs said. And I don’t know about you but sometimes while in this waiting room aka the waiting season we have feelings of:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Confusion
- Doubt
- Anger
- Fear
- Etc.
And all of these things cause us to have blinders on, get off course, or forget God’s promises for our lives. And so this morning as I laugh at the enemy who is using physical pain to try and control me and giving my carpel tunnel (which is healed in Jesus name in my right hand) a fit right now, I say it’s time to Superman that Oh!
My sisters and brothers I need us to stand on the enemy’s neck this morning and tell him he has been served and the “Po Po” is knocking at his door, he’s got to flea in the powerful name of Jesus!
Ya’ll I don’t know if I’m by myself but I’m tired of being sick and tired. I’m tired of working like a slave dog just to be struggling as soon as the money hit the bank. The same money I was slaving for all week and when it hits I’m happy just to pay two bills and it’s back to square one wondering which “Peter can I rob to pay Paul!” Yes it’s time to Superman that Oh! But while I’m tired of my current situation, I’m still believing God to do what only He can.
I’m not writing to complain because we all have situations going on whether it be physical, mental, financial, spiritual, or what have you but it isn’t TOO BIG or TOO FAR GONE where God can’t handle it. I’m writing to help encourage the one that is growing weary, tired on your pursuit or journey in Christ. It’s time to look to God for renewed strength! It’s time to get on our knees and feed on His word! When I tell you the last few days it’s like God has opened my eyes (He hasn’t taken the pain, the financial strain, or the other things I’m dealing with away) but He has given me hope and strength to endure.
You see sometimes we praying for God to help us win the lottery, have Jennifer Lopez body overnight, rob a bank and get away with it, or whatever you thinking when that’s not God’s intention. We’ve got to shift from our own desires and pray God will show us and we be obedient and attentive to what it is He is revealing. And when He has us to wait, don’t let your waiting be in vain, but grow in faith and stay in prayer.
When I found myself moving sluggish around the house and allowing my overthinking to corrupt what I know God has promised to His children, I knew it was time to get out of that slumber and check myself. Yes I had to Superman that Oh!
Friend, what do you have to Superman aka kick to the curb essentially is what I’m asking? Is it time to put down the Patron and pick up Dasani? Is it time to put down Marlboro and pick up a cinnamon stick? Is it time to put down Little Debbie and pick up a celery stick? Is it time to put down Playboy and pick up Proverb or Psalm? Ya’ll get what I’m saying!
I’m not coming to spit in your koolaid this morning but I came to give you the “tea” for your lunch break today and tell you what God placed on my heart, we can come to God WITH NO DOUBTS! It can bring us comfort, healing, a positive change, it can provide a breakthrough. I’m a living witness of what prayer can do! And so are you! Trials and tribulations are going to come but we have to stay prayed up and be persistent and consistently putting on that whole armor of God that Faith talked about at her prayer walk.
I’m not being a broken record but I just want to encourage you that if God could take the blinders off of my hard head, I can only imagine the things He will do in and through YOU with an open and willing heart.
As I get back to work, I just wanted to tell you it’s okay to Superman that Oh and God might understand if you have to actually Superman that Hoe! 😉 (laugh, lighten up it’s a joke)!
Prayer is powerful! God is more powerful! Trust, believe, be persistent and no matter the circumstances believe that God can and God will if it is in accordance to His will in His timing and His way!
I love y’all! Be encouraged! 🤗

Soldier boi up in it Oh! Watch me crank it Watch me go! Yes! I remember this song and I never got the words right either… It’s some things that I am going to Superman that Oh! I am putting down the Hennessy and Picking up the Crown Royal! Sike! Lol. I picking up the water bottles and not the soda bottles. You see this season of isolation, God has been telling me about myself. How can I be the one to break generational curses if I am only putting in half the work. You ever heard the saying the doctors need a doctor or the therapists need therapy themselves…basically they need to follow their own advice. Well that is me sometimes. I am proud to say that the advice that I do give is great regarding diabetes and healthier eating habits. And I am proud to say that people follow the advice I give. Now I need to follow it. I need to only have 3 carbs per meal or less. I need to have my accountability partner back now that her hand is fine not going to call any names 📢WHITNEE📢. We need to put down those burgers and pick up some lean meat, non-starchy vegetables, and fruit for dessert. We need to write out a meal plan or I can do that and we need to get Jennifer and company and go walking around a track. We need to have six small meals a day and don’t eat after 6. We need to do some intermittent fasting. We have to show our kids what it like to put down a fattening milkshake and pick up some beets, carrots, green apples, pineapples and juice it. We need to switch over from cow’s milk to a plant base milk. We need to put down our credit/debit cards and stop buying our groceries and start growing our fruits and vegetables. We need only to pick up our phones not for endless scrolling but to learn how to do something new. We need to bring family time back. We should eat together at the table with real China and not paper plates. We need the old neighbor yard sales and when your neighborhood wasn’t just a neighborhood but actually a community. We need more of Mr. Smileys showing the kids how fish and mentor our young men. I know I turned it into we I stress of if I but zI believe if ‘we’ brought more awareness to this…the. “Forge”
Could be built. Like living off grid. But one step at a time. I am so loooking forward to Madison Superman that Oh to some people at school. And don’t get me wrong they are bullies but her Superman is Standing Her Ground and Affirming who she is in Christ Jesus and I am so proud of her. But it Starts with Is Whitnee. We got to Supemailn that “Oh” one by one. I am not necessarily looking for results immediately. I believe our “Oh”s will show progress in consistency and behavior change. So let’s continue to encourage one another and then everyone can see our inspiration to encourage someone else then they cycle repeats. Amen.
Amen.
