Faith or Fear: What’s your response to COVID-19? 3.26.2020

I was sitting in the nail salon last week and my nail technician said she had a few cancellations due to the coronavirus. I asked her if it had tremendously affected business but she replied “no not really, only a few clients are scared.”

Fear is a normal response. But then you have to ask yourself are we living our live in fear or faith as we face new challenges, restrictions, safety precautions; etc. daily?

Join me under the Daily Devotional tab for today’s message but FIRST, the conversation starts here. Are you living in fear or faith? Please place your comments below!

  1. Hmmmm…. Fear or Faith? I believe we all have a little fear. Fear of the unknown always makes us uncomfortable, like you said it’s a normal response. We’re humans not GOD’s. But knowing what to do with that fear is the key. Give it to GOD. He ask us to do that when we’re weak and afraid. He longs for us to do that. That’s when the Faith comes in. We trust GOD to take care of us no matter what happens. HE’S IN CONTROL. But we must remember to use WISDOM. Remember that scripture that said render to caesar the things that are caesars and to GOD the things that are his. So if our leaders ask us to stay in unless it’s an emergency we do. Use wisdom by saying is this a priority, do i need food, medicine? We follow the law or suggestion given by the leaders, but trust GOD to take care of us. I think that is using our Faith. Why do they want us to stay in? Fear or Protection? Hmmmm.. something to think about.
