EJ Won!!!!!!!

The theme of today’s message is give and it shall come back to you!

Not even a week ago my family and I were blessed by Faith’s boldness to speak up on behalf of her children. With her speaking up I was able to feed off of her boldness and speak up on behalf of my boys. In return, God blessed my boys with three brand bikes AT NO COST TO ME!

The best thing about it wasn’t the fact they were free but the fact I stood out on faith and took a chance. I was rejected at first but I took a deep breath and just spoke from the heart. I opened my mouth and God did the talking because Lord knows I am not the one who normally speaks up or speaks again after being rejected. But with God and for my kids, I surprised myself. But with God nothing is impossible.

So let me show you how God returns the favor who do good for others, He does good for them!

On Saturday a sweet friend of mine who is one of the most resourceful ladies I have ever met. I mean between Yolanda and Kelly, I don’t know who networks harder BUT shares the wealth and has never been selfish but uses those connections to connect our communities and bridge the gap that truly blesses us all.

As soon as I received the following announcements via text I passed it forward. I knew I would not be able to benefit but maybe someone receiving the message would. That’s how God works. That message might not have been for me but I’m glad I payed attention so God could use me to bless others. That’s the best reward in it all- allowing God to use me!

Many responded and said they wish they would have know sooner or they had already had plans or couldn’t make it BUT there was one who could take advantage of it.

Faith called me and told me she was at Union Baptist Church. I was amazed because she had been so busy planning arrangements for her fathers home going but it didn’t make her skip a beat when it would bless her children. And boy were they blessed!

She called with excitement and told me that they had a bike giveaway and also scooters. I chuckled when she told me because I reminded her the boys got brand new bikes just last week. All I could do is smile because she still thought of my boys during this time.

A little while later she called but I was tied up trying to get items into the uhual so she decided to go ahead and text. The text said “EJ won!!!!!!!”

I was so excited you would have thought she said we won the lottery. You see how I said we right lol!

It was truly a testimonial to what Matthew 7:12 says. It reads, “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Mom and dad taught us Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We lived by the Golden Rule and to this very day, I apply it in any and every situation than I can. Even when people do me wrong, I still don’t take the “eye for an eye” approach.

So Elijah won the bike but Faith said they were all out of “big boy” bikes so he payed it forward and selected a bike for us little brother, Joshua.

It looks like it was made to order just for Little Joshua!

It was a Domino affect of blessings! Thank you Lord!

The Bible tells us in Matthew 7:11: “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

TIP OF THE DAY:

When we do for others, God blesses us. When we give, God blesses us. When we give kindness, we in return receive kindness from others. Daddy used to tell me, “Whitnee’ don’t dish out what you can’t take back.” So I say to those reading today’s message be kind, give from the heart expecting nothing in return, love others, forgive others, show grace, do good to others and it shall come back to you. And when it does get ready because God will truly pour out His many blessings!

  1. Yes!!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!. I am so glad. Now all 3 of them have bikes or EJ has an advanced bike LOL. Yes. all I can say is Yes to your ways and yes to your will Lord God. Blessings on top of Blessings. I will Follow you God. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says: 6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. Verses 10-11 says 10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. Acts 20:35 says: 35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Deuteronomy 15:10 says 10 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake. Well you get my drift. This is how we are suppose to give and the Lord will indeed bless us in return. AMEN!!
