Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
The power of a praying church has these effects:
- They don’t follow the crowd, they follow the cloud
- They are a fighting church
- They strive to gun down the enemy
- They realize the tactics the enemy will use to throw them off tract
- Distract
- Disappoint
- Discourage
- They get in their Word daily (written Word, spoken Word, or the living Word)
- They will use their SNACK PAK to stay focused and remain obedient.
- Realize the enemy wants us to:
- Disobey
- Doubt
- Deny
- Realize the enemy wants us to:
- Put on the whole armor of God
- Wear the belt of truth to tell the truth of God
